These Ticketing Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to tickets purchased through the WowTix platform, including the WowTix website, applications and other ticketing interfaces through which tickets are made available (“Platform”).
Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing any ticket. By purchasing, receiving or using a ticket through the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms, together with any event-specific terms and conditions communicated to you at the time of purchase or by the relevant Event Organiser.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not purchase or use a ticket through the Platform.
1. About WowTix and CloudJoi
WowTix is a consumer-facing ticketing brand and platform through which tickets for events organised by third-party event organisers are made available for purchase.
The Platform is powered and operated by CloudTheatre Sdn Bhd, a company incorporated in Malaysia (Company Registration No. 202001024125), operating under the brand name “CloudJoi” (“CloudJoi”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
CloudJoi provides the technology, ticketing infrastructure and related services that support the WowTix Platform, including, where applicable, ticket ordering, payment processing, ticket issuance, ticket delivery, customer communications and other ticketing services.
Payments made through the WowTix Platform are processed by CloudJoi. Depending on your payment method or financial institution, your payment or credit/debit card statement may display the transaction as “CloudJoi Ticketing” or a similar transaction descriptor. This is the payment processing descriptor used by CloudJoi for transactions made through the WowTix Platform.
Ticket confirmations, tickets, receipts, event updates and other communications relating to your purchase may be sent from noreply.wowtix@cloudjoi.com. You are responsible for ensuring that emails from this address are not blocked or directed to your spam or junk folder.
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular event, WowTix and CloudJoi are not the organiser, promoter, producer, performer or venue operator of any event listed on the Platform.
The event you purchase a ticket for is organised and presented by the relevant Event Organiser, as identified on the applicable event page, ticket, confirmation or other event information.
2. Event Organiser
For the purposes of these Terms, “Event Organiser” means the person, company, organisation, promoter or other entity responsible for organising and presenting the relevant event.
The Event Organiser is responsible for the event itself, including, where applicable:
- the event programme, content and performances;
- performers, artists and speakers;
- the venue and event facilities;
- event timing and scheduling;
- seating arrangements;
- audience capacity;
- age restrictions and admission policies;
- event-specific rules and requirements;
- cancellation, postponement or alteration of the event;
- event safety and security;
- the conduct and management of the event; and
- any other matter relating to the production or delivery of the event.
The Event Organiser may impose additional terms, conditions or requirements for a particular event. Where such event-specific terms are communicated to you before or after your purchase, you agree to comply with them.
3. Your Ticket Purchase
Tickets made available through the Platform are tickets to events organised by the relevant Event Organiser.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, your purchase is for a ticket to the relevant Event Organiser's event and not for a service or event provided by CloudJoi or WowTix.
CloudJoi facilitates the ticketing transaction through the Platform and may act as the Event Organiser's ticketing agent for this purpose.
By completing a ticket purchase, you agree that:
- the information provided by you is accurate and complete;
- you have checked the event, date, time, venue, ticket type and quantity before completing your purchase;
- you have the authority to make the purchase and use the payment method provided;
- you will comply with these Terms and any applicable event-specific terms; and
- you will ensure that all Ticket Holders for whom you purchase tickets are informed of and comply with these Terms and the applicable event-specific requirements.
4. Ticket Purchases Are Final
Unless otherwise expressly stated in these Terms or by the Event Organiser:
- all ticket purchases are final;
- tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable;
- no refund or exchange will be provided because you are unable or choose not to attend the event;
- no refund will be provided because of a change in your personal circumstances; and
- no refund will be provided because ticket prices, promotions or discounts subsequently change.
You are responsible for checking all ticket and event details before completing your purchase.
CloudJoi may, as a courtesy, send reminders or other communications before an event. However, you remain responsible for attending the event and ensuring that you have your valid ticket. CloudJoi does not guarantee that reminder communications will be sent or successfully delivered.
5. Ticket Prices and Fees
Ticket prices are displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase.
Additional fees may apply to a ticket purchase, including ticket handling, service, payment processing or other applicable fees. Any applicable fees will be displayed during the purchase process where practicable.
Ticket Handling Fees are strictly non-refundable, including where an event is cancelled or postponed and a refund of the ticket price is otherwise available.
The Event Organiser may determine or approve applicable ticket prices, discounts, promotions and other ticketing arrangements.
6. Promotions and Promo Codes
Promotions, rebates, discount codes and other promotional offers may be subject to additional terms and conditions.
Unless otherwise stated:
- promotional offers are valid only for the stated period;
- promotional offers may be subject to availability or limited quantities;
- promotional offers cannot be combined with other offers;
- promo codes must be correctly applied before completing checkout;
- late requests to apply, amend or add a promo code after checkout will not be accepted; and
- no refund or adjustment will be provided because a customer did not apply an eligible promo code before completing the purchase.
The Event Organiser may introduce discounted ticket prices after tickets have gone on sale. No refund or adjustment will be provided for the difference between the price originally paid and any subsequently discounted price.
Where there is a conflict between these Terms and the specific terms of a promotion, the specific promotional terms will apply to that promotion.
7. Ticket Delivery and Validity
Tickets may be delivered electronically or through another method specified during the purchase process.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
- the contact information provided during purchase is accurate;
- you have access to the email address or account used for the purchase;
- your ticket is available when required for admission; and
- you do not share, duplicate, alter or misuse your ticket except where expressly permitted.
Only valid tickets purchased through WowTix or another authorised point of sale will be accepted.
Tickets purchased through unauthorised websites, resellers or other sources may be counterfeit, duplicated, cancelled or otherwise invalid. Any such purchase is made at your own risk.
8. Ticket Resale
Unless expressly permitted by the Event Organiser, resale of tickets purchased through the Platform is prohibited.
Tickets must not be resold at a price exceeding the original purchase price.
CloudJoi and/or the Event Organiser reserve the right to cancel or invalidate tickets that have been resold or obtained through unauthorised channels.
9. Admission to Events
Admission is determined by the Event Organiser and/or venue operator.
Only valid ticket holders will be admitted, subject to any applicable event-specific admission requirements.
The Event Organiser and/or venue operator may require proof of identity or eligibility for certain ticket categories, including discounted tickets.
The Event Organiser and/or venue operator may refuse admission or remove a Ticket Holder without refund or compensation where the Ticket Holder:
- behaves in a disorderly, disruptive, abusive or inappropriate manner;
- fails to comply with event or venue rules;
- presents a safety or security risk;
- possesses prohibited items;
- uses a ticket that is invalid, duplicated, cancelled or otherwise unauthorised; or
- otherwise fails to comply with the applicable admission requirements.
Late admission may be restricted or permitted only at a suitable break in the performance, at the discretion of the Event Organiser and/or venue operator. Late admission is not guaranteed and does not entitle you to a refund.
10. Children and Age Restrictions
Age restrictions and admission requirements may vary between events.
You are responsible for checking the applicable age restrictions and admission requirements before purchasing tickets.
Where a ticket or event requires a Ticket Holder to meet a particular age or eligibility requirement, the Event Organiser and/or venue operator may require proof of eligibility.
Unless otherwise stated by the Event Organiser, children and infants must comply with the ticketing and admission requirements applicable to the event.
11. Event Changes, Postponement and Cancellation
The Event Organiser may, where reasonably necessary and subject to applicable law:
- postpone or cancel an event;
- change the event date or time;
- change the venue;
- change the programme;
- add, withdraw or substitute performers or artists;
- change seating arrangements or audience capacity; or
- make other reasonable changes to the event.
Where an event is postponed or cancelled, the Event Organiser will determine the applicable arrangements, including whether tickets remain valid, whether refunds will be offered and the applicable refund period.
CloudJoi may communicate information regarding an event change to Ticket Holders on behalf of the Event Organiser.
CloudJoi does not independently determine whether an event should be cancelled, postponed or refunded unless expressly authorised to do so by the Event Organiser.
12. Refunds
If an event is postponed or cancelled and the Event Organiser offers refunds, the Event Organiser will determine and communicate:
- whether a refund is available;
- the amount refundable;
- the refund request procedure;
- the refund request period; and
- any additional conditions applicable to the refund.
Refund requests should generally be directed to the Event Organiser in accordance with the instructions provided for the affected event.
Where authorised by the Event Organiser, CloudJoi may act as the Event Organiser's agent to process refunds.
CloudJoi will only process a refund where:
- the Event Organiser has authorised the refund;
- the necessary funds have been made available to CloudJoi by or on behalf of the Event Organiser; and
- the refund request is made in accordance with the applicable refund procedure and within the applicable refund period.
CloudJoi is not required to process a refund where the Event Organiser has not authorised the refund, has not provided the necessary funds, or CloudJoi no longer holds the relevant proceeds on behalf of the Event Organiser.
Refund requests made after the applicable refund period may be rejected.
You may be required to provide information reasonably necessary to process a refund, including proof of purchase, contact information and bank account details.
Ticket Handling Fees are strictly non-refundable, including in connection with event cancellation, postponement or any other circumstances resulting in a refund.
Complimentary tickets are not eligible for refunds unless expressly stated otherwise.
The Event Organiser may impose or pass on applicable refund processing or other service fees where permitted.
